Approaches to sex education

For this assignment, I want you to consider the best approaches for sex education before college. For me, the one thing I remember about sex education back in 7th grade was not learning anything.

Think about your own education. How did you learn about sex in school? Was it helpful or not helpful? What could we do to improve sex education? What age do you think would be appropriate for learning about sex? Should school be responsible for educating about sex? Why or why not?
