Assess the quality and depth of your thinking in relation to meeting course outcomes

HRMT 200 is the introductory course in Human Resources (HR) in the MacEwan University School of Business. It is designed to give students a broad overview of the subject of HR as well as to expose you to many of the sub-areas of HR, including topics such as training & development, compensation, job analysis, employee & labor relations, amongst others.

The focus of this final assignment is to assess the quality and depth of your thinking in relation to meeting course outcomes, as you reflect on your learning journey through the course this semester. It takes time to refine and polish your ideas, so start early; read the questions right away and jot down any ideas that come to mind. This will help you start your assignment!

Specifically, I’d like you to use the question prompts listed below to write a reflection on your experience in the course this semester. Additional assignment guidelines are as follows:

• Minimum 750 words (or approximately 3 double spaced pages in 12-point font with 1- inch margins). Your assignment may be longer than 750 words, but not shorter.

• You do not need a title cover, but please include your name on the first page of the assignment. You will lose 1 mark if your name is not on your assignment!

• The assignment should be written in the first person (using ‘I’).

• The assignment should be written in paragraph and sentence form. You may use the headings for the questions prompts as sub-titles if you wish (but that is not required).

• You should answer all of the question prompts in your assignment.
