There is a great passion that everyone brings to their work. As healthcare leaders, we have to harness that desire as an individual and as a group in efforts to meeting a vast majority of goals. “For lack of guidance a nation falls, but victory is won through many advisers” (New International Version, 1973/2011, Proverbs 11:14). As mentioned previously, healthcare is a complex industry. When treating a multitude of diseases, socioeconomic factors, and various other aspects of care, it is not to be shouldered by one individual. Effective leaders harness the knowledge and compassion of the entire team to meet the common goals of the team.
