Areas of knowledge / areas of activity that you can choose from are, for example:
The area of disability, gerontology, health care, nursing, social care or psychiatry.
You should use the knowledge that you acquired earlier during your education. You can take help from the assignments you have submitted. You may also need to search for new knowledge, for example via the internet or get help at a library. Be sure to list your sources so your teacher can see where you got your information from!
a) Describe a care recipient and his needs, state of health, situation. Focus on the needs that are connected to your two areas of specialization.
b) Explain what efforts / what support is needed for the person / persons to have their needs met. What symptoms and changes do you need to be aware of?
c) Which laws are relevant in your case description?
d) How can your specialization knowledge contribute to increasing the quality of life of your care and care recipients as well as facilitating their everyday life, preserving their health and functional abilities? Describe how you work ethically, hygienically and ergonomically!
e) What do you think can be improved in the two areas of specialization you worked on? Think from the perspective of both the care and care recipient, relatives / relatives and staff. Give examples of routines and forms of collaboration in the work, and how this can be improved.
