Residential Care for children with disabilities
The outline story. Damien is 16 years old and in residential care for children with disabilities. He was involved in a serious car accident that has left him with a brain injury. He is non verbal, but he seems to understand basic information and he uses pointing or symbol boards to communicate his needs. Damien is incontinent and he needs assistance with personal care and dressing, but he is capable of feeding himself. He is socially awkward and can sometimes be aggressive towards other carers and residents for no apparent reason.
