Cells of the immune system.

Cells of the immune system. Cells come in an amazing variety – single-cell organisms. cells of the immune system, the world’s largest cell, animal cells, plant cells, Natural Killer cells, cells with XX chromosomes, and even cells that we could make a reality TV show with, like Cell Survivor: On The Edge Pick a specific differentiated (liver cell, cytotoxic T-cell, neuron) or single-cell species (Yersinia pestis) and create a post on it.
Please include the name of your cell in your title

Health deviations in physiology.

Health deviations in physiology. Your summary of each reading should include the following information: 1. Link to the reading

2. Why you select the reading

3. Main point of the reading

4. Describe how the health deviations you read about alter normal physiology.

5. Provide your key takeaway from the reading.

Dominant allele in population.

Dominant allele in population. Insects give them protective coloration on vegetation darkened by soot in heavily industrialized areas prior to air pollution regulation. In one heavily polluted area near Birmingham, England in 1956, 82% of the moths of the species Biston betularia were black due to the presence of a dominant gene for melanism. Estimate the frequency of the dominant allele in this population, and the proportion of black moths that are homozygous.

Homozygous recessive tooth.

Homozygous recessive tooth. In tooth fairies, curved wings are dominant over straight wings. If a homozygous recessive tooth fairy has 4 children, and half of them have straight wings… a. What is the genotype of her tooth fairy husband? b. What would the genotype of the other 2 children be? 5) In Ligers, stripes are dominant over solids. If two heterozygous Ligers mate

HIERARCHY OF THE BODY.

Biology Introduction Biology is the study of life and living organisms. HIERARCHY OF THE BODY The human body can be studied at different levels. Organs such as the stomach can be grouped into organ systems (digestive system) or can be studied on a smaller scale like the cellular level. The ranking of these levels is called a hierarchy. The smallest organization unit is the atom. Individual atoms are grouped into larger structures called molecules. These in turn make up organelles, which are part of the larger, more complicated system called cells. Cells are the structural and functional units of life. Cells are clustered into tissues. Organs are discreet units made up of two or more tissues, and organs are grouped into organ systems that compose the organism. Label the levels of the hierarchy and color each item a different color
