For the Capstone assessment, you will create a Product Launch Comprehensive Strategy. The Capstone represents the final stage in your goal to obtain a Master’s Degree in Operations and Project Management. This final course will allow you to demonstrate proficiency in all areas of operations and project management. You will develop an overall, comprehensive strategy to bring a new product from design to mass production within a manufacturing or service environment. Along the way you will complete 3 critical stages of the development process that will require competent skills in project & operations management. You will also complete the three (3) stages of product launch demonstrating that the product or service has gone successfully from conception to high volume manufacturing or full service integration. Additionally, you will self-reflect on the overall program and project and operations management as a career focus. Evaluation of Capstone This Capstone will be assessed somewhat differently than other courses you have taken online at SNHU. There are four (4) separate components that will be submitted at different times during the course; however, they all operate together to comprise the whole Capstone experience and are not assessed separately. You will be evaluated on all four (4) of them as a unit in determining whether you have demonstrated proficiency in each outcome. All four (4) components must be completed at the highest levels as the strengths of one cannot “make up for” the weaknesses in another. Your work is expected to meet the highest professional standards. Remember, you are selling yourself as a competent operations and project management professional as much as you are selling your product launch strategy. The Capstone project is divided into three milestones, which will be submitted at various points throughout the course to scaffold learning and ensure quality final submissions. These milestones will be submitted in Modules Two, Four, and Six. The draft submission for Capstone Component 1 is due in Module Seven, Capstone Component 2 is due in Module Eight, Capstone Component 3 is due in Module Nine, and Capstone Component 4 is due in Module Ten as part of the overall Final Submission which includes revised Components 1 through 3 followed by the self-reflection of Component 4.

Organization:
This paper must include a full introduction paragraph that begins with a hook, introduces the topic (the company being analyzed), and the thesis and essay map. After the introduction, the paper must include multiple body paragraphs that follow the AXES; in each body paragraph, quotes (if the ads have words) and descriptions of the ads must be integrated to support the student’s claims. Each body paragraph should contain at least one quote or detailed description of the ads, and each must be cited! The paper must wrap up with a conclusion paragraph.

The best way to approach this paper’s organization is to explore the ads chronologically; this means you will likely have two to three body paragraphs on the old ads, followed by two to three body paragraphs on the new ads. Remember: compare the ads based on a shared theme to determine if the message has changed. Give equal attention to all four ads.

The first seminar is scheduled for two weeks from today. Ms. Field would like you to prepare for the seminar by reviewing the structure of the court in your state, jurisdiction, and the various sources of law. She would like you to prepare a chart demonstrating the court structure and jurisdiction and prepare a memo about the sources of law and ethics. Ms. Field will be using the following fact pattern to demonstrate the sources of law and ethics:
Phyllis Smith owns and manages a restaurant in the community, Lucky Horseshoe Restaurant. Ann Reid lives next door to the restaurant. Ms. Reid filed a complaint with the police department that the patrons of the restaurant and referred to them as “drunks” and “whores.” She picked fights with the bartender on several occasions and even called him Satan. These encounters happened in the presence of the patrons of the restaurant. Sales dropped 30%, and Ms. Smith filed a lawsuit against Reid.
Compose a memo that Ms. Field will use to present at this seminar. The memo will respond to the following questions:
Analyze and discuss the four sources of primary law and identify which source of law may be applicable to this case. Be certain to explain why.
Discuss whether Reid’s statements about the restaurant’s owner, bartender, and customers are protected by the U.S. Constitution.
Evaluate whether Reid behaved unethically in the circumstances of this case. Explain why.
Conduct research on the court structure in your state and develop a chart identifying the various levels of the court. A sample chart can be found in the Students Resource folder. The chart should include the following components:
Local Court Information and Jurisdiction;
County Court Information and Jurisdiction;
State Court Information and Jurisdiction;
State Intermediate Court Information and Jurisdiction; and
State’s Highest Court Information and Jurisdiction.
Submit
After you have conducted the necessary research, prepare an intra-office memorandum to the Managing Attorney. Your memo:
Must be formatted using the elements of an inter-office memorandum: the Heading, which will include To: (who it will be addressing, From: (the memorandum will be written by you), Date: (date in which the memorandum is written), and the Re: (what the memorandum is in regards to).
Must be typewritten in Times New Roman or Arial 12-point font, and with 1-inch margins.
It is suggested that your memo be at least 2-3 pages in length.
Must include a minimum of three scholarly and credible sources (not including the textbook).
After you have conducted your research, prepare a chart that meets the following requirements.
Must be 1 page of content.
Must be legible.
Combine your Memo and Chart of the Court Structure into one Microsoft Word document with a page break separating each document, and upload as a single attachment to the Unit 2 Assignment – Sources of Law (Final Project Part 1)
