Cultural diversity and gender

The global crisis I chose is “Plastic Wars”

I’m being interviewed by a reporter and I have to answer her question

Cultural Diversity

What does it matter anyway? What is so important that we understand cultural diversity in a time like this? Who cares if we’re all different?
I have to give a response and example using human sociocultural identity related to gender. How am I supposed to turn a global crisis about the ‘Plastic Wars’ into something about gender???

I know that understanding cultural diversity and gender help us to resolve conflicts, build bridges, and appreciate the unique perspectives that each group brings to the table. But how does this relate to the global crisis of plastic? I know that plastic causes global warming and climate change along with pollution and what now but that doesn’t help me understand how gender fits into all of this. I have all the pieces to this puzzle I just cant put them together. can you please help. I’m looking for a real answer not something that’s already been uploaded. if you cant answer the question then please don’t. I’m stressed and confused I need a real answer not just some basic hogwash.
