Cause of premature mortality and morbidity

Tobacco is most likely the primary cause of premature mortality and morbidity in Malaysia, especially among Malaysian men, those who are younger, of Malay ethnicity, less educated, reside in rural residential areas,s and with lower socio-economic status. The burden of disease in 2013 estimated that one-fifth of disability-adjusted life years and one-third of years of life lost for Malaysians were due to smoking-related diseases. As a nutrition researcher, you are going to plan an anti-smoking campaign.
