Centuries of colonialism and discriminatory practices
Due to Africana studies being heavily influenced by the centuries of colonialism, racism and discriminatory practices Africanas face in our everyday life, if you were to see racism/prejudice/discrimination directed towards an Africana by another race in your presence, will you stand up next to that Africana who is being treated unfairly while the Africana was being respectful? will you demand fair treatment for the Africana whether your voice is heard or not?
