Choose a documentary film to view that relates to the topics and themes covered in this Global Citizenship course. If you have any questions regarding the appropriateness of your documentary choice, please email me the name of your documentary as soon as possible. After viewing the film, please answer the following questions.
- Identify the documentary and how it relates to topics and themes covered in GEN100? Be specific and explain your answer using evidence from the film and the course outline and/or syllabus (it may connect in multiple ways). Why did you choose this documentary?
- Which pieces of the film elicited the strongest reaction (positive or negative) from you? Explain why.
- Would you recommend this film to next year’s GEN100 students? Give the film a rating from 1 to 4 stars, with 4 stars being excellent and highly recommended, and 1 being poor and not worth the time. Briefly explain why you gave it the rating you did.
- Create or choose a series of THREE (3) visuals that explain or represent the key points of the documentary and its themes. Briefly explain what each image is meant to represent.
- What questions do you have for the film’s creators? What questions did the film leave unanswered in your opinion?
