Competence when providing counseling

While we focuses primarily on our competence when providing counseling to our clients, this case study brings up an interesting dynamic regarding possible misbehavior on behalf of our clients. As I have mentioned in other posts, it is expected that we deal with various interpersonal dynamics when working with our clients; however I am wondering what you think should happen if Luke’s behavior escalates over time and he becomes increasingly disrespectful toward Susan? How should she address Luke’s behavior?
