Cloud computing is a continually growing field. Cloud storage and cloud computing have made accessing data and systems much more flexible and easier than they used to be. However, this may come at a compromise of privacy.

Do you believe the loss of privacy is acceptable for the gains in convenience that are made available from cloud computing and cloud storage? Why or why not?

It is worth considering that while you are trusting your data to another company, that company also likely has firewalls and security measures that far exceed what is even available to consumers. Additionally, do you believe your data is more or less secure in a cloud-hosted environment? Why?
