Types of Congressional powers

explain each of the three types of Congressional powers: Enumerated, Implied, and Inherent. What powers is Congress granted?  Are they always specifically outlined in the Constitution?  If in the Constitution, which article and section are these powers listed under, as well as offer implications to other non-listed Congressional powers?  How do Congressional powers help preserve the system of “checks and balances” in dealing with the Executive Branch (i.e. President)?  Give a specific example to support your answer.
