The 1996 Constitution of Zambia

Article 111 of Part IX of the 1996 Constitution of Zambia (prior to its amendment) stipulates that, although referred to as rights in some instances, the “directive principles of state policy” are not, by themselves justiciable before a Court, tribunal, or other administrative body. Further, Article 110 (2) states that their implementation is dependent on available resources.
