The count of cancer patients

if I have a column that is the count of cancer patients that a primary physician saw from last year on who were referred to the primary physician divided by count of cancer patients that a primary physician saw from last year on who ONLY saw that physician and count of cancer patients that a primary physician saw from last year on who were referred to the primary physician.

What kind of conclusions can I come up with?

Especially, from the relationship of physicians and referrals
