This covers the material from our course and readings. You will be critiquing a speech from the list you are provided. Select ONE of the speeches provided.

Apply everything you learned from our course and critique/ evaluate the speaker.

For example, you would need to include who, what, when, and where, as well as specifics about the speaker’s style, nonverbal communication, content, effectiveness, and more.

Criteria:

General Content Areas (Instructor): Speaker, Place/Environment, Audience – Points 0 to 10 points

Content of Presentation – overall summary – Points 0 to 5 points

Course Content Areas Covered: Delivery: Nonverbal Communication Areas, Overall Purpose, Effectiveness of Presentation, Summary – Points 0 to 30

Mechanics/Grammar/Punctuation/Spelling/APA – 0 to 5 points
