E-Learning and the Science of Instruction

According to Clark & Mayer’s book “e-Learning and the Science of Instruction”, there is still research to be be done on when to break a lesson into a segment and how to identify concepts presented in pre-training. In your opinion, please address the following questions in this Discussion Post:

  • As a practitioner and as you consider your team project, how would you determine where to break a continuous lesson into meaningful segments for the learner?
  • Similarly, how do you know when to include concepts in pretraining?
