Consider the following statement from the Ethical Rules of Conduct (Department of Health, 2006, paragraph 44(7)): ‘When any electronic, Internet or other indirect means of assessment is used, the psychologist concerned shall declare this and appropriately limit the nature and extent of his or her findings’. What is your reaction to this statement?
