How does the grand narrative of Scripture drive us towards spiritual growth?

It tells us why God created the world, how it became broken, and His intentions for fixing it–and us. Without embracing the story God is telling, our lives remain disconnected and purposeless. We are here today and gone tomorrow with no particular meaning to our life.

Why should we learn the grand narrative of Scripture?
The grand narrative of Scripture tells the full story of the Gospel which is fulfilled through Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection. God’s mission is to save us from our sin (Redemption) and to restore (Restoration) His good creation (Creation) which has been marred by sin (Fall).
What does the Bible do for us that helps us grow spiritually?
As it shows us what sin is, it also tells us what righteous living looks like. We grow spiritually as we see our sin, repent of it, and walk in holiness and righteousness through our faith in Christ and by the power of the Holy Spirit. The Bible shows us a way of life that turns from sin and embraces holiness.
