The health effects associated with noise exposure has been known for decades now. However, noise-induced hearing loss is still a very common occupational disease claim spanning different industry sectors. In your opinion, why do you think that noise-induced hearing loss remains so prevalent amongst the working population? Please provide a brief explanation for your answer.
