Human rights movements

The abolition movements in Britain and the US were the first human rights movements. Now human rights includes national and international issues. Of the human rights issues we are studying this week, which is most relevant to you and why? Can you refer to another human rights issue or movement that now that affects you? Is there a legal or Constitutional remedy to this second movement or issue?
