The IPID disciplinary convictions
Detained perpetrators are raped and killed inside the police cells by police officials. Official firearms are no longer intended for their original purpose but are used to threaten innocent people and to commit crimes. The IPID disciplinary convictions give impunity to those that contravene the law. People are brutally assaulted, such as in the case of Mido Marcia and Andries Thane. Unless such a problem is tackled with great caution, South Africa will slowly but surely become a lawless state.
