How would you use the job design principles

Managers of a call center were facing annual staff turnover exceeding 400%. Over the course of a 3-month cycle, the entire staff quit. Employees’ jobs included cold calling people and using standardized scripts to ask them to donate money to a university. To improve the job and reduce turnover, consultants first considered adding variety and autonomy, but this was not an option because the job involved only one task and the employer insisted on keeping the standardized script. Imagine you were one of the consultants hired to redesign this job. Working within the constraints set by your client, how would you use the job design principles we learned in class to make the job more motivating and enjoyable? (3 pts)
