Define juvenile delinquent behavior in your own words and identify…

Define juvenile delinquent behavior in your own words and identify two behaviors that can be considered both juvenile delinquent behavior and adult criminal behavior (i.e. stealing a car, assault, drug-related charges).

Then, compare and contrast the difference in the potential charges brought forth for the juvenile versus the adult. Explain your opinion regarding whether or not you believe charging is handled appropriately by the justice system.

Additionally, what ethical challenges does a forensic psychologist face when consulting about charges for juveniles versus adults?

What are the two types of juvenile delinquency?
Juvenile delinquency encompasses two general types of behaviors, status and delinquent offenses. Status offenses are behaviors that are considered inappropriate or unhealthy for children and adolescents, and the behaviors are proscribed because of the age of the offender.
