Learning goals
Think of 5 learning goals that you would like to achieve in a university class. You should think about what you want to learn and what you would like to achieve, by the end of this course. You should have five learning goals. SMART is an acronym that you should use to guide your goal setting. Use SMART goals to explain and expand how you can reach these 5 goals.
To make sure your goals are clear and reachable, each one should be:
- Specific (simple, sensible, significant)
- Measurable (meaningful, motivating)
- Achievable (agreed, attainable)
- Relevant (reasonable, realistic, and resourced, results-based)
- Time bound (time-based, time limited, time/cost limited, timely, time-sensitive)
learning goal should be in full sentences, providing details, written in the SMART format.
