Improve responsiveness to legal and ethical requirements

Throughout all interactions with clients and co-workers you must work safely, protect privacy and confidentiality, follow mandatory notifications, infection control, waste management etc procedures in line with both legislation and ethical requirements. You must demonstrate to an assessor that you can complete a range of workplace activities in accordance with legal and ethical requirements in at least 3 different work situations. Situations might include: o conducting entry interviews with clients 0 communicating with clients to ensure needs are identified or to perform specific procedure 0 moving clients from, or into a chair 0 preparing and providing client meals 0 interacting with co-workers ‘ Make a report verbally and in writing to the relevant person (eg a supervisor) when you become aware of a potential or actual breach of legal requirements (eg in relation to duty of care) Facilitate and participate in a meeting with colleagues and supervisors , to review organisational policies and protocols, for at least two potential work practice improvements that will improve responsiveness to legal and ethical requirements (eg in relation to meeting privacy legislation}.
