According to the Mythbusters script below Write a 100-200 word paper, Discussing low-carbohydrate diets.  Do you think the general population knows that vegetables and milk products contain carbohydrates when following a “no or low-carbohydrate diet”?  Were you surprised by the information presented?

Welcome to nutritional Mythbusters let’s talk about carbs, low carb, and no carbs by the way, this includes the always popular paleo Too. I’m sorry about this diet just drives me nuts, two nuts. You know because paleo means you would need a lot more nuts, because it’s like natural ones, though natural don’t get me started on that word, that’s for another time! I want you to think back to a long time ago when dinosaurs roamed the earth well actually do our first unit. Does anybody remember the recommended macronutrient recommendation for carbs anybody? You are aware of it was actually forty five to sixty-five percent of your retiers. That’s a lot and it was based on like science and stuff. So why in the world, would you want tocut out or cut down what is supposed to take up forty five to sixty-five percent of your calories simply put whoever are they? Are they just want your money? So what happens when you don’t get enough carbs, youwilldie, just kidding well sort of your body is really awesome and it makes curves from non carb sources like protein for fuel. So why is it bad abra? Obviously, I can still will be on the paleo diet, since the body can make cards appear out of nowhere. This is a survive on that mechanism and is not to be used long term. The way I like to picture this is that,

like a car driving in reverse, yes, it works, but it’s not efficient and eventually you are going to crash long term low, carb diets to take a toll on your body losing muscle because he didn’t want to eat. That dinner rolls seems a little

illogical right. So why do people lose weight on these diets? You can almost see the way it literally fall off of them. Well, one good thing about low carb diet is that it does mean that you start to eat more fruits and veggies, and

you stop eating macaroni and cheese with a side of bread every single friday. But did you know that fruits and veggies have carbs in them to it’s yeah they do milk products, fruits and veggies are all considered carbs. My point is that americans tend to overeaton a lot of starches and once you go on a low carb diet that stops that’s why we lose weight. Well, that’s all the time we have for today. I’ll see you next time and nutrition. Myth needs to be busted.
