Maturation-promoting factor

Maturation-promoting factor, or MPF, is a cyclin-dependent kinase that promotes a cell’s entrance into mitosis from the G2 phase by activating a number of proteins important during mitosis, including several that contribute to the breakdown of the nuclear envelope. Based on this information, you know that MPF activates other proteins by O causing them to bind to cyclin. phosphorylating them. O oxidizing them. methylating them. O causing them to undergo apoptosis.
