Canada has a Mental Health Strategy. Considering the readings and the lecture for this week, why might this be a good thing for Canadians? What might be some limitations?

Why mental health is important Canada?
Mental health is as important as physical health, and they both directly affect the other. People with physical health problems often experience anxiety or depression, which affects their recovery. Similarly, mental health factors can increase the risk of developing physical problems, such as: diabetes.
Why are mental health strategies important?
Research shows that high levels of mental health are associated with increased learning, creativity and productivity, more pro-social behaviour and positive social relationships, and with improved physical health and life expectancy.
