Nobility of the Holy Roman Empire

After reading how Luther addressed the nobility of the Holy Roman Empire arguing about the authority of the Catholic Church and how the Church defends its claims to authority. And John Calvin talked about government, obedience, and disobedience- issues which are important within the different Christianities, particularly during a time of religious division. And then have a set of rules for Calvinist churches in villages around Geneva, and a list of rules about prohibited books from the Council of Trent.

After Reading about these topics, what are the concerns that these different sources have about society and religion? What are things that are seen as a threat or dangerous? How should those threats or dangers be dealt with? You may also think about how these sources would define a good Christian society, and any areas where you see similarities or differences in their concerns and solutions.
