A Psychologist treating abusers

In marriage therapy, a psychologist treating abusers. Their child died of injuries that appeared to have been inflicted. The psychologist was then summoned to testify before a grand jury investigating the child’s death and was asked about the number of sessions he had with abusers.  A judge ordered him to testify or be held in jail for contempt of court. The abusers did not want any information from the psychologists’ session to be discussed in court. Describe the various effects of each decision the psychologist can make [20 marks].
