A public safety organization

When you look at public safety, what is customer service in relation to this field?   Web search and find a public safety organization and how do they apply customer service? Explain if it is the way they deliver service, handle complaints, public programs, etc.?

Looking back at last week’s discussion on QA/QC, how can this be applied to customer service?  Does or should QA/QC lead to quality improvements?  Look through the internet and see if you can find a QA/QC program that focuses on customer service in some form.  What is the improvement program and how is it applied. Could this be used in your department or organization?  What are the benefits? Please include reference.
