Topic- Recruitment, Training and Selection
Conduct research consisting of one or more of a newspaper article, an article from a trade journal, an academic article, a video, or a radio clip.
To ensure currency, the newspaper articles, trade journal articles, videos, and radio clips cannot be older than 6 months. Academic articles cannot be older than 5 years. A copy of the research must be shared with your presentation (i.e., with your Instructor and with your classmates).
Answer/consider the following questions in your Report and Presentation:
- How does your presentation relate to the HR Profession and topics covered in class?
- Provide examples using the online content, the textbook chapters, etc. Refrain from unnecessarily repeating the content and theory that already appears in the online modules. Highlight the key points and make a solid connection between the topic and the module content. You may find that your presentation supports what the online module and/or textbook says or opposes it.
- How does the topic relate to the human resources profession?
- What is the impact of the topic you selected on those in the real world (e.g., on employees and/or employers, government, society, etc.)?
