Roles play by trade unions

The past 18 months have seen a tremendous upheaval in the world of work following the outbreak of the deadly Covid-19 virus, which spread the globe in a matter of weeks and impacted lives and livelihoods of billions of workers and their families. The trade unions need to respond to the pandemic using all the tools of social dialogue at their disposal throughout all levels of communication regarding this current situation.
