Immanuel Kant’s Empiricism and Rationalism. Immanuel Kant was a German philosopher who expanded upon the understanding of empiricism and rationalism. Born in 1724, he lived to be almost 80. He is most well known for his comprehensive and systematic work in epistemology, ethics, and philosophy.
