Should public funds be used to provide programs for Native Americans, Alaskan Natives, and Native Americans

Do you agree or disagree? explain why to the following paragraph

Should public funds be used to provide programs for Native Americans, Alaskan Natives, and Native Americans? Why or why not. From the time that America was established by our European founders, the American Indians lost out on everything vital to them being able to prosper. They were not even considered citizens of the United States until the passing of the Nationality Act of 1940. Their land, culture, and identity were stripped from them so that we could progress as a nation. Alaskan Natives and Native Hawaiians have also suffered the same fates so that once again the people of the United States could benefit from the resources of their lands. There have been some financial and land restoration, Court ordered mandates to try and alleviate some of the damage that the Orginal citizens of the United States have suffered. Still considering the poverty levels, educational disadvantages, and mental health issues that these communities experience because of their displacement in our society, the amends made towards these humble and honorable people have not been enough. We took their lands and forced assimilation on peaceful human beings. I feel that our government does owe them continual help in order that these communities may eventually be able to have peace, balance, and financial security again.
