Use of technology in learning

Though online learning was nearly 30 years old when the COVID-19 pandemic began, the event forced an immediate transition to distance education for millions of learners and instructors of all ages.  Some had a positive experience and some had a negative experience.  However, it is evident that some practices that were adopted during this time have persisted despite the fact many students and instructors have returned to in-person learning.
