The Bill of Rights

Theoretically, if the Bill of Rights/Checks and Balances applied to not just the US Constitution but the three other institutional arrangements (The Articles of Confederation, The New Jersey Plan, and The Virginia Plan), what other factors make the US Constitution the best solution to represent the will of its citizens and for it to respect their basic civil liberties?
