the proof of misdeeds rests with the patient
I do think it is fair that the proof of misdeeds rests with the patient. I think if a person believes they have experiences medical negligence they should already have evidence to prove that. Of course, additional evidence is necessary, and he said she said would probably not be valid in a court of law. Ethically a doctor would attempt to correct a mistake that they may have made and if they take no actions to correct a mistake then it is safe to assume they do not believe they made a mistake. This is where the patient would have to prove the doctor or medical professional did otherwise. What is your opinion? do you agree or disagree?
