Theories, frameworks and models of School effectiveness started from the 1970s to present time. There are different approaches to the theories in relation to school effectiveness. These theories ranged from those of Edmonds (1979), who has developed five factors/characteristics of school effectiveness, to those of Scheerens (2015).
