Theory of Group Development
Tuckman’s Five-Stage Theory of Group Development Lists Performing as the fourth stage in the model. The Lecture Notes indicate this is the stage where the actual work of the group takes place. How much time has elapsed (as a percentage of time) in an average project group before the actual work of the group actually takes place. In other words, do you think going through the first three stages (forming, storming, and norming) consumes the first 40% of time assigned to the group before the actual work begins or do you think it is a different percentage of time?
