Use of theory to investigate foreign policy decisions and include these ideologies in the assessment, then we can begin to paint a pretty picture of motives, behaviors, mindset. Realism and liberalism are fairly dominate viewpoints throughout the world. Our own country has gone through periods of change when we have bounced back and forth between these two. As we move forward in the world, spectating leader’s decisions will always tend to make more sense.

when viewed through these lenses. When we judge them, we will judge them on whether their decision stuck to their liberal viewpoints, or if they acted more as a realist for that incident. Foreign policy is ever flowing and abundant. As is our analyzing and desire to understand. Hopefully these two ideologies can help further our understanding as well as the study of the many other ideologies out there.
