Verge of taking a leave

Can you please help me by giving some points or content for the following phases for an employee who is on the verge of taking a leave, but making sure they are connected to work…?

 

1. Prior to your leave of absence: to stay connected with work what should the employee be aware of before going to leave?

2. While away from work: to stay connected with work what should the employee be aware of while away from work?

3. Prior to your return to work: to stay connected with work what should the employee be aware of as they plan to return to work?

4. Once you have returned to work: to stay connected with work what should the employee be aware of as they have returned to work?
