Warehouses

You discuss a lot of good points about why warehouses are good for

a business but do you see any drawbacks?  If warehouses are run inefficiently they can be a tremendous drain on manpower and other resources.  Automation and strong management can overcome these, but they are a necessary additive rather than a given in a warehouse environment.
