The British experience following WWII in Cyprus (1955-1960)

The British Empire has a history of confronting terrorist and insurgent challenges both domestically and overseas, within a colonial and post-colonial context. Examine the British experience following WWII in Cyprus (1955-1960) and provide a brief overview of the counterterrorism/counter-insurgency policies implemented by the British to stem resistance in that country.
