To protect public health in future Public health emergencies or pandemics

My question is: In order to protect public health in future public health emergencies or pandemics. Which government branch, if any, could overrule states’ police powers and make vaccinations required by all states in America? (so that less lives are lost to future pandemics. In America alone we lost 1.5M people due to COVID-19).

Question 2:

Public Health Agencies & Health Care

My question is , is it  realistic to set up some sort of extension agency under COPC to help better connect communities and primary care providers on a more intimate level? Would that fall under COPC’s scope?

Question 3:

There are many controversial legal issues surrounding public health surveillance and disease reporting in the U.S. While it is the governments job to protect the publics health from disease and epidemics, there are certain limitations such as privacy and constitutional rights that create barriers. What type of boundaries should be enforced in monitoring health status and disease reporting’s to avoid violation of privacy, while still managing to protect the public health?

Question 4:

Local Laws

It discussed 10 local laws that may be harming public health. Laws are created to guarantee our rights as citizens against any abuse from the government, people, and organizations also to protect our general safety. Some of these laws may seem as though they are there to protect the public but they are proven to contribute more harm because of the harsh outcomes. The penalties are biased and, in some cases, unreasonable.  Question: Are these local laws unjust for public health?

With the private companies out of the picture, individuals will only be able to turn to the public option, and then it will be up to the government to decide whether we should live or die.
  4. I will vote for whomever the Democrat Party chooses as its candidate. If these experienced politicians think that someone is fit to represent them in office, then that person must be a good leader.

  4. Helping someone who is in trouble is the right thing to do. So if you don’t help someone who’s in trouble, you’re violating his rights

The Government making citizens do small things

Identify the fallacy (or fallacies) committed by each of the following arguments. The seatbelt law should be repealed. It starts with the government making citizens do small things, like wearing seatbelts and helmets for biking, then it’s curfews and policemen asking to see your papers, and then people will be afraid to do anything without seeking government approval first.

The bookstore

Your friend shows you some books he took from the bookstore without paying for them. When you question him about it, he says, “Sure, I took them. But I’m no different from anybody else around here. That’s how we all manage to get through school on limited funds. I’ll be a better medical professional because of all the knowledge I gain from these books.”

LEGAL ISSUES RELATION TO CONTRACTUAL OBLIGATIONS TO FORM A MEMORANDUM

TASK –  PLEASE ASSESS THE ABOVE INFORMATION AND FIND ALL LEGAL ISSUES RELATION TO CONTRACTUAL OBLIGATIONS TO FORM A MEMORANDUM. ( you do not need to made a memorandum, just locate the legal issues)

Please provide case law to support your legal issues.

Scenario – Second Hand Rose would like clarity in relation to the contractual effect of a number of emails concerning a transaction between them and a company they engaged to restore the deck of their beer garden, Coastal Deck Co.

– Daisy did not read the terms and conditions that Leo attached in his email.

– Daisy did not clean or sweep the deck before Coastal Decking Co arrived.

Workers from Coastal Decking Co arrived on the morning of 25 August and used a power hose to clean the deck. Many of the decking boards disintegrated under the pressure.  The deck can’t presently be used as it presents a risk to patrons.

Coastal Decking Co applied the sealant before the deck was completely dry, resulting in a number of ugly whitish patches.

At the end of the day, Daisy was shocked by the amount on the invoice. She is a small woman and felt intimidated by the workers who refused to leave until she paid the entire amount through Coastal Decking Co’s eftpos machine, so she paid the entire amount of the invoice.

The Legal office memorandum

Mr. Ring liked the legal office memorandum that you submitted for Ms. Lear’s case. He used your memo as a basis for his demand letter to try to get Insure-all to pay for the damage to Ms. Lear’s home. Unfortunately though, that letter did not convince the insurance company to compensate Ms. Lear at all. Therefore, Mr. Ring filed a lawsuit against Insure-all.
