I’ve read this discussion in Reddit about the concept that MBTI type could change and I can’t really find a way to debunk some of them. Mind taking a read and enlighten me?

It’s this one btw. It’s years old but the discussion is quite intriguing. (t’s a mere discussion that sort of bugged me and I’d like to know if the discussion changes your mind.)

Apart from that, I think it’s best that you don’t rely on personality test sites too much. If you like, want a certain and actual result, an in-person meeting with an expert on the field is best.

I’m not even sure if I’m an INTP. I took the test 5 times last year and 1 time this month. Stood the same. My friend said that she was INFP in junior highschool, then she became INTP in first year college.

She knew her MBTI type because she took the famous 16 personality free test. But after she get away from identity crisis and learned the cognitive functions, she realized that she was an INTJ all the time, suffering from Ni-Fi loop.

My QUESTION is: I tried asking if MBTI could change, I couldn’t find any research or article to back me up. Mind to answer my question on why MBTI could change? Please I need multiple sources that are verified researches and articles based on scientific data.  Thank you so much!

How does the grand narrative of Scripture drive us towards spiritual growth?

It tells us why God created the world, how it became broken, and His intentions for fixing it–and us. Without embracing the story God is telling, our lives remain disconnected and purposeless. We are here today and gone tomorrow with no particular meaning to our life.

Why should we learn the grand narrative of Scripture?
The grand narrative of Scripture tells the full story of the Gospel which is fulfilled through Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection. God’s mission is to save us from our sin (Redemption) and to restore (Restoration) His good creation (Creation) which has been marred by sin (Fall).
What does the Bible do for us that helps us grow spiritually?
As it shows us what sin is, it also tells us what righteous living looks like. We grow spiritually as we see our sin, repent of it, and walk in holiness and righteousness through our faith in Christ and by the power of the Holy Spirit. The Bible shows us a way of life that turns from sin and embraces holiness.

Instead of the typical dichotomies of MBTI (e.g. Introvert vs Extrovert, Intuitive vs Sensing, Thinking vs Feeling, Perceiving vs Judging etc.), rely on cognitive functions instead

(e.g. the cognitive functions of INTJ are Ni-Te-Fi-Se; Introverted intuition, extraverted thinking, introverted feeling, extroverted sensing).

What do you see as the main difference between behaviorism and Freud’s psychoanalytic theory as they relate to human nature?

The Biblical worldview says there is a God—One who is personal, powerful and caring—who created the world and everything in it. It states unequivocally that man is created in God’s image, living in essence as God’s co-regent over creation. Mankind—born and unborn, rich and poor, able and disabled—has intrinsic worth.
What is the relationship between the Bible and psychology?
Biblical truths are authoritative in ways that psychological concepts can never be. By believing that Scripture speaks to the heart of people’s trouble, we know that God has much to say about people’s problems, including their psychological disorders. Scripture is rich in description, explanations, and prescriptions.
