In the discussions on Love and Hate, there were a variety of hypotheses generated as to why emotions can be very intense both for individuals and for societies.
Discuss 2 theories that might be applicable to the current political situation in the US right now and why people might be so polarized. Please do not discuss your personal beliefs, but rather discuss theories why polarization might be happening.
