Scope of duties and responsibilities

Reasonable Accommodation – this is a very important section to be aware of in order to follow the law regarding disabilities. HR professionals should be better equipped to deal with accommodations.  As a supervisor, it may be beyond your scope of duties and responsibilities.  Nonetheless, many organizations do not have an HR person(s) in the organizations.  After reviewing your chapter readings and the links below, discuss  things you would do if confronted with making the decision yourself.
